Inside Lies a Rainbow
I can close my eyes to the things I do not want to see, but I cannot close my heart to a feeling traced in my artery
The tears I cry are sacred as the rain drops that feed the earth
How do you define when the time is right when every second seems vital?
Life is my fantasy
I look once then peer again and everything seems like a mirage
On the outside life is black and white
On the inside there is a rainbow of colors and beats of rhythmic sound and harmony
I envy one's life and think they are lucky to have accomplished fortune and fame
but I never take a chance to look within and see the rainbow of colors and rhythmic sounds and harmony
The outside may seem appeasing but the inside is unorthodox and lunatic
I can only close my eyes so long
Feel what I want
See what I believe
The truth never lies and I become a coward to the world
Blind to the rainbow of colors and rhythmic sounds and harmony
