The Earth Heals
The cold world and weather reflects,
The earths warm liveliness not there to see,
The trees are bare and exposed,
Like the unbearable pain to be,
The interpretation of a broken heart,
Will die away with the warmth,
To the wetness of despair,
Yet there is no warmth to be found,
So the bitterness will endure,
Seeking out the life of the suns rays,
The bitterness blocking out light and in turn hope,
With out light everything has a loss of color,
Just as the air chills and tastes stale,
And yet the earth will lose its chill with time,
Just as the soul takes time to heal.
