You could...
You could make a river with my tears that flow in the darkness of my room;
When the stars and the moon shine and I’m all alone with my thoughts
You could make a book with all the agony from my soul that spills haphazardly over the pages;
The words jumbled and lost and broken like my heart
You could make a grave for the person within me that died long ago;
Too saddened and burdened with pain to go on
You could throw a wedding for the bond between my soul and the darkness;
For the light did nothing but burn me;
The rain scalded instead of cooled me;
Your love did nothing but fool me;
Your words only blinded me;
I am binded in a sea of pain and lost with my tears flowing together under my sorrowful song
Because heaven’s eye shines no more
In my life of darkness and scorn
