I once made a wish...
I once made a wish
To all who would listen,
A wish so small
Yet so grand.
I once made a wish
To you while you held me,
A wish only you
Could withstand.
I once made a wish
To those full of hatred,
A wish to feel
More secure.
I once made a wish
To all those who suffer,
A wish to open
That brand new door.
I once made a wish
To all who were wishful,
A hopeful wish
Reigned to be true.
I once made a wish
To those who felt hopeless,
A wish to look at the world
As I do.
I once made a wish
To a part of me,
A wish I never
Could make before.
I once made a wish
To no one at all,
‘Cause no one listened
To wish for more.
