Disarray Kisses
Threads of ice
sewn to the fringes of leaves
petrified.
A fire once blossomed there,
only to fall in
orderly
disarray.
Fluttering
down,
seamlessly
woven
into
the
wind.
leaving the stain
of red lipstick kisses
spoiling the ground.
We used to play with kisses.
Pile them up
to leap upon.
Before I understood love,
I couldn’t comprehend a world
kissless.
Now, its hard to imagine
ever playing careless
with a kiss.
When did we forget how to love
boundlessly?
