I trusted you
When you said you were different.
I trusted you
When everyone I had no one else.
I trusted that you wouldn't hurt me.
You were different.
You gave me false hope,
Then you smashed my heart
And left me to pick up the pieces
All by myself.
I'm sorry I ever trusted you.
I won't make that same mistake again.
Not with you or anyone else.
