Sunset's despair
When the cat jumps on the window sill to bid the sun a goodmorrow, and the dogs of the neighborhood howl at the darkness that begins as it gently drips it's sorrows over the sunset. When the hazy, orange lights pour in through my shades, only to be cast away into the shadows, a beautiful presence of the moon's friends. When I start to creep back into the solitude, and enclosed room that is my own. I’m ready to fight the seeming endless battles of my nights. I’ll become my own illness, I’ll raise my covers, and fall into my black hole of despair. Don’t worry for me though, I’m comfortable here, the shadows, they hold me close.
