The Girl on Fire
“The Girl On Fire”
I try to run, but the vines trip me,
Entangling me in their trap.
There’s nowhere to go, nowhere to hide.
One mistake, and I now bear the weight of the world on my shoulders.
I never meant to hurt anyone, I was just trying to protect my loved ones.
They didn’t understand, they misunderstood my intentions.
I am just a toy, just a part of the Capitol’s plan.
I don’t belong here, I don’t deserve this.
They turned me into a revolution.
They turned me into the Girl on Fire.
