Four Seasons
The colors of the landscape,
always changing.
From spring, fading into summer,
leading into fall and eventually ending in winter.
The spring, bright and joyful,
full of colors, blossoming under the golden sun.
The summer, a cousin to spring,
dry and humid, sunny and beautiful.
The fall, orange, brown, deep red, and
eggplant-colored leaves, crunching under my feet.
A crisp chill ending with a frosty winter wonderland.
Soft snow, crunchy ice. Frozen, cold, and gray.
And then the cycle starts again.
