Flutter
I was calm,
I was my own person.
I was the only one,
of whom I was certain.
Then there you were,
across the room,
you looked at me,
and I was doomed.
From then until now,
nothing has changed,
can't keep my eyes off you,
my feelings the same.
You make my heart flutter,
my stomach's in knots,
I smile at nothing,
I can barely talk.
You see what you've done?
I'm a whole different person.
Now you're the only one,
of whom I am certain.
You make my heart flutter,
and my dreams fly away.
Maybe you'll feel the same someday.
