How can i fly,
when the world holds me down
When all of this violence,
threatens to drown
the hope of my people
the earth that i love
How can i fly,
When there is no above?

This piece sums up my feelings about how us humans have no idea what harm we cause to those around us, most of all ourselves.

love thiss!!!! i think everybody at some point in their lives want to just break away and be free and just do whatever their hearts desire yet there is always something holding them back.. maybe even life itself. Great poem:)

This doesn't seem to have too much emotion but it has rhyme(which I am partial to)and it has a good message and question. Its 3 stars.
