Haunting
Held once, just once
enough for a spark
enough to ignite the flames of a young heart.
She cried
she mourned
He was gone from her to another.
Why must it always be the way?
Her tears fell no more
With every closed window opens a door.
Remember him always
But grieve not.
Wait no longer
Her heart may be bound but her mind is free
She will see the light.
She must be strong
For he will ne'er he be hers.
The dawn brings fresh horizons, but the darkness brings dreams
from another realm where they can be as one.
She waits on planes
of nothingness
The realms that are lost to many
The castle built around her dreams.
