The rest of the way down,
I think about the birds,
Singing higher and higher above me.
The rest of the way down,
I think about the river,
Rushing to meet me.
The rest of the way down,
I think about the fall,
How quickly it was.
The rest of the way down,
I think about you,
Watching me jump.
The rest of the way down,
I stop thinking,
For it is pointless now.
