A curtsey in reply
A hand to ask
A smile in answer
Feet, two pairs, both
Keeping time to the music
Flowing around, giving
New depth to movements
A twirl that lifts
Showing lace, and
A dip that seems
To defy gravity
A step takes them
Close enough to kiss
Another moves until they
Almost cannot touch
The music slows, then stops
The air gradually stills
A bow in thanks
