Never Quite Enough
She sees what no one else can
When she looks at her self
Of her figure she's no fan
These last few pounds have been her hell
She hopes for a brighter future
With the perfect size six waist
And no one can ever suture
Hell's wounds that she has faced
To her she is a monster
To others the saving grace
She is a tired impostor
And so much more than a pretty face
She wears her scars like badges
Showing her battles with pride
And I hope with a little magic
She'll learn she won't have to hide
Because she is always beautiful
No matter what she feels
And I will gladly be there
To help her as she heals
I will give her hope
In the darkest days
And I just hope she knows
The dark will surely fade
