Opposites Attract
she was day,
and i was night.
and while i was dark,
she was light.
we fit together like dreams
and a midsummer night.
in fact, it's quite easy to say
that when we come together,
we truly ignite.
what i see is that
there's something about the girl
with a beautiful soul
and a smile that illuminates even the
darkest of minds
and makes me entirely whole.
that, right there, is something to cherish
it's certainly not easy to come by,
but we will continue to strive
because when i find something good in life,
i genuinely try.
i try to make it effortless.
not intricate or complex.
just effortlessly… simple.
simplicity, after all,
is the ultimate sophistication.
but then again…
that's only if you trust in Leonardo DaVinci
as a reliable source.
but now i'm just getting off course.
the thing about light and dark
is that they compliment each other.
where one lacks, the other excels.
and when they are one,
they seem to breeze through life
as if they have access to some sort of…
magical spells.
so do not fret when you spot
two completely different people
who decide to tie the knot.
because together their knowledge
and capabilities far surpass those
of the average individual.
you must not question it.
simply… admire their unity.
for many wise beings have often said that
opposites… they tend to attract.
