ecstasy
Such bliss
 I encounter
While I live in my pain
 My agony
 I feel the caresses of
 My anguish
And they lure me in with
 Promises of
 True
 Ecstasy
 They bring the bait
 And I am the catch
 Given to a king
The drug lasts long enough that
 I can forget
 For a while
And live in a life not my own
I can lose track of time
And make a wish on a star
That turns out to be just a light

 Deep within I know
 I will never find escape
 But still I try
 To hunt for sustenance and
 Get lost in the lust
 And bitterness of
 My own heart
