This Is Peace

I lay there silent,
unthinking,unmoving,
speechless,
this is peace.
A ribbon of wind washing over me,
caressing,
caring,
cooling.
Giving me hope as large as novels,
this is peace.
The willow limb's danced above me,
the creek gurgled beside me,
the grass swayed under me,
the hammock swung with me,
this is peace.
