Breakthrough
I walk home every night
Look at the stars burning bright
I can't help but think of you
It's only right
To wonder about you
And wish to you I can take flight.
I peer at the sky
Looking at the stars, I sigh
We're so close, yet so far
Midnight is nigh
I wish I could eclipse the distance that bars
For the longing for you, I cannot deny.
How is it that I fell for you?
You, the one with green eyes and a coat of blue
I saw you, and away my heart flew
You captured it
And I can say no more about you
Other than you've mended my stone heart anew
And I can only hope with you we breakthrough
