My Anchor

“I refuse to sink’
a new trend?
an anchor
a symbol
which says
something holds you back
does that make you strong?
or weak?
refusing to give up,
i think not
more to be
drowning
but just only the surface
while someone is
drowning,
dying,
lying,
and hiding.
I am drowning
but kicking
and pushing to survive.
