underneath
and spread your
golden dreams
The green of new
life rises from
the dark deep
of underground
Release the cold
from your spindle
bones and desire
for the sun
Drink of liberty
to grow form
a lone, lost
single seed
Ignore the
cancerous
disease of a
steel cage
And weep your
tears of joy
as your petals
reach above.
