Popular? No. Such. Thing.
So you believe in popularity.. don't you?
You think it's the coolest people,
with the coolest clothes,
who brag alot.
The boys play sports,
and the girls are always drop dead gorgeous.
Not. True.
All of them,
deep beneath their skin,
the truth crawls.
It itches to get out.
To tell the world,
how that person REALLY is.
Not the lies they have been telling,
EVERYDAY.
For months;
even YEARS.
The truth would just pour out.
Nobody would be able to stop it.
That fake smile he wears everyday?
Its' really just an expressionless face,
just like yours.
All that make-up she wears everyday?
Underneath, she's just as pretty.
Inside,
all those people are just as normal as you.
Somedays, they might even want to BE you.
But the lies they pile on you,
It's enough to go around the world twice.
They literally feed them to you.
You, believe every word you hear.
Imagine,
thinking a person you thought you knew everything about,
when really, you only knew their first name.
You had no idea what their life was about.
Until the truth spills.
You never would have guessed her clothes were hand-me-downs.
Just like yours.
So that group.
"The Popular People."
It's just a dumb title.
Think of everyone as a doll, on a shelf in a shop.
Some might say;
" The more beautiful ones are on display in the front, the ugly and broken are to the back."
In reality,
they were all made IDENTICALLY.
If we could show what we were thinking,
his shirt would say:
"Left Out."
Hers would say:
"Broken."
Those "Popular Kids"
The ones that treat people like you, like crap.
They are nothing.
They hurt more then you sometimes.
