Sea Of Cheat
I thought of you while I was out at sea
Only you
And all you did was
Cheat, cheat, cheat
The man you said you would marry
Is now left her standing in the hall
Empty house, all the pages torn out and gone
The sound of you is like salt to my wounds
I never even had a clue
Because all I did was think of you
Only you
All I feel now is numb
Abandoned sea where did I go wrong?
My life, my wife
It’s all gone
These bottles won’t heal my pain
I’ll break them just like you broke me
All I can do is think of you
Empty house
The epitome of abuse
All alone
This is my bitter recluse
I wish I was stranded out at sea
You loved free
You never even thought of me
Because all you did
Was cheat, cheat, cheat
As a sailor I’ve seen it all
Empty ocean
And the break of dawn
But what I never ought to think
Was how you would sleep with another
A man to you
But to me a thief
Bodies entwined as you dreamt
My heavy heart that was once cement
Crumbled like paper on the ocean floor
The maps were torn out
I lost my direction
My life, my wife
It’s all gone
