I Rapunzle
Picking the petals,
Off of roses,
Then letting them fall,
Eighty feet below,
While I stand in my tower,
All alone.
I sit and watch,
All of the people,
Live there lives below me,
While I must stay,
In my tower,
All alone.
Sometimes I hope,
My prince will come,
save me from this fait,
But I continue to stand,
In my tower,
All alone.
In the distance I see,
A white horse riding towards me,
I start to believe he is coming,
In a blink it is gone,
Then I stand,
All alone.
Every day I dream,
About what my life might have been,
If I hadn't climbed the stairs,
Then aloud them to lock me in,
I wonder If I would still be,
All alone.
