Perfect
He’s perfect.
But he doesn’t believe me.
How long will it take
To make him see what I see?
The way he holds me
And the way he smiles
The way he always makes me feel
Like I’m the only girl worth his while
When he looks at me
With his perfect eyes
And tells me how I’m beautiful
And I’m the only thing ever on his mind
He would compliment me
If I were wearing a dress
But he’d say I was gorgeous anyway
Even if I looked like a mess
When he holds me in his arms
And I feel so completely safe
And I couldn’t possibly think
Of a more perfect place
He’s always interested
In all I have to say
And whenever I see him
It makes my whole day
Some of the things I like about him
Others don’t see
But everything about him
Is what makes him perfect to me
