Dancing in the Dark
Life is dancing in a pitch-black room
Spinning and turning
Trying as desperately as possible
To produce beauty
The fear of falling, though
Consumes even the greatest
Until they feel as if
It is safest not to dance
But when one can conquer
Even the greatest of fears
The beauty may continue to grace
A room that will never see it
A pirouette, an arabesque
Turning so fast you feel
Like a plane talking flight
Just like it was made to do
