Art is My Life
My art is my life
It makes me smile and never
forget the true emotions
left inside of me
Who am I to be one
with confusion
today at this second
Who am I to keep myself
from free expression
I'm not, don't you see
Blue red yellow green
they all look so pretty
the never ending path
to my heart is taken
by lines of art
to the nearest station of genre
8
where it's time to depart
my colors and ride my brush
across my white canvas,
to feel my brush glide
and to watch the colors form,
and create the image of beauty
I rode that train to Artspace
where I started as an amateur
nevertheless, I learned so much
more
than to draw stick figures in pencil
and shade them in, fading in
I love when the colors blend,
and my mixed emotions come to life
is it my art, or is it my voice,
that lets me vent my deep lost
thoughts
