When the Moon Fell In Love With the Sun
June 3, 2012
the reflection of
the falling sun
was burning on
the briny ocean
waves crash on
the glittering shore
the moon began to rise
on the far horizon
huge, in the
starless sky
casting pale shadows
across the sea
the sunlight turned red
as it sank below
the stirring waters
ruby blood dripped
in to the ocean
soon devouring the dying sun
as the murderous moon
continued to rise
