Those Familiar Shores of Yours
You've been there many times before.
Those familiar shores of yours.
Every time you sail away, and then sail back
no tears you lack.
"I never should have gone,"
You say. But you knew all along
the wickedness of that land.
Many times past have you stayed that place
Why you're still alive-- must be God's grace.
And I say, boy,
You unkempt, despicable, duplicitous, lying, hypocritical boy,
Why?
Why die when you can live?
Why collect a cent now,
to never be given money again?
Would you not prefer
to wait now
and be given untold riches later?
Go wash yourself, boy.
You smell!
Are you ready to live now?
Come, man!
Think you're missing something from that land?
Let me show you something better.
