Internal beauty, salient, but hidden
Everyone knows but, you
We all see, but you’re eyes are blind
It glows and illuminates the darkness
Behind hateful eyes
Foundations of misery
Judge the quick, soon to be dead
Impossible comparisons
Always fall short
They’re not you
You’re not them
They don’t brighten a day
Or foster a smile
There just cold
Unnatural bodies
Empty minds
The world knows you’re beautiful
You’re still in the dark
You’re eyes shut
Searching for a friend
