Forever
Sitting alone
All others asleep, or preoccupied
It felt like no matter what I tried
I couldn’t be happy
Not like this
Who should I blame; it’s not her fault
She doesn’t care
But I hope she knows I’ll be there always, and forever
I know she knows that,
I’d never do her wrong
Never hurt her
She’s many miles away, but I think she knows
What I think
She knows that I care,
It kills me to know
She doesn’t
