The Music Of The Night

In the starry night
the secrets roam the air.
Filling the sleeping breath
with floating dreams
that slowly disappear.
As the moon illuminates,
the music drifts through the wind.
The soft rain kisses the ground
leaving in tears.
The emerald grass
awakes from sleep.
Reaches for the galaxies
And shakes off the coating of dew.
The endless night
gives a final cry
as the light pierces
the shadowy cloak.
The balmy breeze
whispers to the trees
as the sleepy sun
warms the day.
