We are...
Are we the ocean?
We must be, the way it ebbs and flows, gently, and violently
It has to be true, we are seashells, weathered and thrown around only to be taken away
We are the ocean, a vast space occupied by millions of tiny uncertainties waiting to be explored
Are we the trees?
We must be, the way they stand tall reaching towards the sky, confident in their purpose
It has to be true; we are aged and tired, but strong when united
We are the trees, timeless and unique, boastful but powerful
Are we the rocks?
We must be, the way they are unyielding, the way they stand
It has to be true; we are millions of tiny pebbles, thrown aloft to places unknown
We are the rocks, eternal walls that will never be broken down
Are we the sky?
We must be, the way it stretches across a globe filled with small but significant happenings
It has to be true, we are clouds that block the sunlight but dissipate in time for the moon
We are the sky, a vast mirror of wishes and stars
We are the WoRld
