ESCAPE MY FATE WITH A FRIEND

I lock myself in,
I lock myself down,
With every word a sibling speaks,
Or every comment a parent says,
I must escape my fate.
Music and movies are 2 of my few friends,
They make me happy most of the time,
They help drowned out the yelling,
They make me feel like the world is mine.
