No Strikes, but I'm Out
You aim to confuse,
I’m going to lose.
It’ll be a shame,
And I’ll have you to blame.
To you this is a ball game.
You must want to enter the hall of fame.
You’ve got a noose
and you refuse to let me loose.
I hope you know it’s not okay to cheat.
Everyone knows that’s the epitome of deceit.
As a matter of fact,
I’d like to retract
that act;
my Attack.
When I began
you weren’t a part of the master plan.
Now’s the end of your regime;
Your whole act was an extreme
scheme.
They said carpe diem
So I kept listening to your requiem.
And every time I tried to escape
Something new would take shape.
It’s the end of this inning
but something else is beginning
and in this I will be victorious,
meritorious.
