My Veins
Travel across my red satin channel
Aboard your angst full boat of steel
Your boat, you board, in my absence
I allow your passage, for hopes of more
Though steel, your boat was sugar
Cleaning and healing my veins
Filling the dark red with light
While stomping out my past
Atop your vessel, you take a cleaver
While sailing along my narrow lines
Skidding the blade across my walls
Tearing my shreds at your leisure
But the walls, being weak, gave into flood
And nearly drowned your evil ship
I reached to give some help for shore
Only to find you covered in my blood
