A thousand miles to trust
Trust: something that must b earned and proven.
The security of knowing you never have to be suspicious,
Never have to worry that something could go wrong.
It could take years to learn how to truly trust
But seconds to destroy.
You build up a wall between yourself and the world.
You know you can trust someone when they build a ladder to cross your wall.
If they break through the wall they never deserved your trust.
Liars provide a shade over them, learn to look through the shield.
Trust is hard to give but even harder to receive.
