Street of Faces
Falling back into old habits
Each day feels like a soft wind
Apathy and consistency
Consuming me from within
People on streets
I’ll never meet
Offering quick glances
Something still tells me
That these are dire chances
To put a name behind the face
However, puts to waste
Curiosity, I keep walking
My thoughts stalking
My daily routine
Maybe it isn’t as easy as it seems
But a guy can dream
So I keep the same path
Telling myself one of these
moments might last
