Who are you?
I see you in shadows
I listen for your voice in the silence,
I listen for your voice in the wind
I see you in strangers that pass me by
I see you out of the corner of my eye
Then you are gone
Your voice comes and goes
Though it always leaves
Your presence invades my life
I feel it though you are not here
I see you when you are gone
I hear you when there is silence
I can feel you sitting exactly where I am
In my place
Breathing with each breath
I see you in the mirror
Your face is where mine is supposed to be
In the blink of an eye, your face has left
Mine in place
I feel you walk as I walk
Your body moving with mine
Where mine is
I stop,
And feel your presence still
Always there in the back of my mind
Do you see the things I see?
Do you hear me, as well?
Do you feel me here?
If you do, can you not see
That I am you-
And You are me?
