Dry Bones
In that dreary valley,
Begins the rally.
I hear the bones rattle,
Preparing for battle
They are all around
And they cry out to be found.
My God asks of me,
‘Can they live son?’
My faith answers in key
‘They will get up and run.’
Dry bones come to life,
He’s made the sacrifice.
Accept His breath
And defeat your death!
Rise higher and higher
Start the fire.
Gather your army
You won’t be sorry.
Your bones were dried
And you thought you could hide.
Your hope was gone,
No words in your song.
He will open up your grave
So stand and be brave.
He’ll bring you back to your land.
You don’t have to be afraid to stand.
He’ll put His Spirit in you
And to Him you’ll be true.
With Him you’ll live
And you’ll learn to forgive.
‘I the Lord have spoken,
I have done it.
You are no longer broken.
Spread the flame I have lit.’
