The Illusion of "Me"
Clawing and yelling at the top of her lungs inside my head
But I must put up a wall
 I must block her out
No one wants to come off as two faced
There was a piercing emotion that just rushed through my body
 Something called fear
Fear of one day she will break free and be unaccepted in this cruel world
We put up an act for society
"I am who I am. I will do whatever I want."
 But, do you really?
The clocks just -tick- -tock- -tick- -tock-
 as you sit and wonder,
 who have I become?
I cannot be true to myself
 "AHH!STOP WITH THE ACT!"
 she screamed
 but I never listen
 My hands begin to shake
I fall back onto the bed and stare at the ceiling
 -exhale-
 Who am I?
Am I just an illusion to the world?
 I'm trapped
 In my own mind
With nothing to lose but myself
