My father's name,
Buried
Underground.
His sense of elevation:
Gone.
He was only a man.
He save few,
Not millions,
From the Cold.
The death of the hero,
A well-known stranger
Shook a nation.
But my father's name
Shook only the car
On the way home
From the church.
