As we separate,
We drift.
Our friendship,
The gift
That we
Once had.
Is slowly going away
From us. It’s sad.
The shoulder I once cried upon.
The person I once knew.
Has vanished
To only a few
Precious moments.
They don’t last.
None of it lasts.
