Beware average women for they will have average love.

The lain gravel hallway
with thick trees as walls
and light strewn leaves hanging
from the branches of the ceiling
brought us to the hill
with only rock
and tall grass
and power lines.

We could see the trail
large glaciers had made
carving out the land.
Two swaths of hills
seperated by only
rippling water and boats,
yet tied to one another
somewhere unseen
by large metal
and screws and bolts.

Patches in the green blobs of nature
showed big houses,
parks and fields,
and small roadways, yet
they seemed to be cloaked
as if being eaten
by the pines
and the oaks.

Way far away we watch
hands knit together
as a bright red sun
kissed a tall blinking red dot.
They merged, blindingly
and spots stayed in sight
imprinting our vision
for the rest of the night.

I've started a poetry workshop class at college, and this is going to be the second poem I present. :)
