Autumn dreams

Autumn leaves, the color of the sun.
Sad to leave their mother's
arms as the clouds breath
carries them away.
Crackling, as tiny feet step on
autumns fragile dreams.
Their mother sadly watches her children leave by her side and
suddenly turns dark and gray.
Growing older, thinner and sadder
by the minute as her autumn
dreams come to an end.
"Autumn dreams." she whispers
sadly in her sleep. Hoping that one day her children will soon
return by her side once more.
