To see but not with eyes
To feel but not with touch
To hear but not with ears
To know you even though you are not here
The feelings that it causes
The turmoil in my heart
The longing in my chest
It won’t even let me rest
The cracking in my soul
It has become too much to hold
To me they are all proof
Proof that I miss you
Proof that I hope you’re home soon
