False Killer
Under his Honor’s
jurisdiction--
Endless hunger,
harsh Conviction.
The Jury have
been told the crime.
They do not know
it isn’t mine.
Starving away
for I cannot eat--
I walk and walk
with tired feet.
Pace my cell
day after day.
If I could escape
I haven’t found a way.
Tomorrow is the
day they decide--
The Jury will say it
when the clock strikes nine.
For the People have
been told the crime
But they do not know
it isn’t mine.
