the world and I

The loneliness is outstanding.
I've come to this place so exuberant with life; I've never felt so desperately alone.
In this sunken depression lies a discovery.
Our species desires social interaction as a miserable and darkened night desires light.
It is not who they are, but who we are and what others cause us to find.
we look into another to find ourselves.
And as I lie alone in this darkened night, all I've found is despair.
