It seems we didn't have a lot of time
Wish we did though
Before you had to go
I didn't know what things had meant
When I was younger
I didn't know you would leave
I had forgotten you
When my memory was refreshed
You were just a someone
I used to know you
I used to be caught in your arms
You hurt me when you went away
I slipped
But no one was there to help me up
And I had to tell people what you were
A legend
It hurts to say it
But now it's too late
And I'm sorry
I hope you are too
