Pain to bare

The pain I feel, is more than one can bare. I'm lost in the darkness, behind me are shadows. The shadows are pain and misfortune, they never leave my side. Even though I have done nothing wrong to feel this way. I'm in search of a star, my one true light. Everytime I get close to the star; my way the shadows cover it; they dont not want me to be happy, that want me to be sad and feel pain. The won't break me. But with pain, there is only so much a heart can take.
